Board Exams Cancelled for Class 10
Due to the prevailing situation of the covid-19 pandemic, the Education Ministry of India has canceled the board exams for Class 10. The decision was taken in view of the safety of the students from the pandemic situation in the country. The Class 10 CBSE examination will be canceled as –
- The CBSE Board Exam for Class 10 scheduled from May 4, 2021, to June 14, 2021, are hereby canceled. CBSE’s lead is followed by many state boards, who have decided to cancel the examinations for Class 10.
- The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the marking mechanism for the canceled Class 10 Board Exams. The authorities have announced that the exams will be formulated on the basis of an objective criterion, developed by the board members.

The students who will be dissatisfied with the Class 10th marks allotted by the board will be allowed to sit for a written examination after the situation is under control. On May 1, CBSE released the official notice addressing the Class 10 students, highlighting the method of assessment.
