The Union Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal has exclusively launched 100+ curriculum-based comic books titled “Nishank”. The comic books are specially curated by top faculties under the CBSE guidelines and are aligned to the chapters of NCERT books.

The books are prepared for 16 subjects exclusively available for the CBSE students of Class 3 to 12. The books are compiled with worksheets to make learning loaded with fun for the students. It’s an initiative from the CBSE under the competency-based education mechanism to elevate the logical thinking and creativity of the students. It will assist the students to gain quality knowledge on the cultural side and social sensitivity of India.

Under the National Education Policy 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education is inclined to shift from bookish learning to understanding the core concepts and implementing them to solve real-life problems.

The comic books will connect the students to the topics of NCERT in a fun manner. It will polish their storytelling and communication capabilities to help them in the future. Here are some prominent features of the comics –

• The comic divides the important topics into small subparts that are supported with worksheets to help the students practice what they learn.

The students can access these specially prepared comics on the official web portal of DIKSHA at diksha.giv.in. or they can download the official application to enjoy a seamless learning experience. The students simply need to create their accounts, selecting their grades so they can access the content.
